  • The name "Kallista" means "most beautiful" in Greek. "Callista" (her spelling "Calista") is an Anglicization.
  • Graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ in 1988, with a BFA in theatre

  • Attended Peace Over Violence (formerly the Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against Women) Humanitarian Awards dinner with Harrison Ford on October 28, 2006.
  • Attended the 18th Annual Producers Guild Awards at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, California, USA, with actor Harrison Ford on January 20, 2007.
