Andrea Roth received her big show business break when she starred in the mini-series "A Woman Of Independent Means". A native of Canada, Andrea began her career in television with HBO's "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." She's been a guest star on over 15 television shows, including "Highlander," "Dead At 21," and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose." She also starred in "A Change Of Place" and "Spoils Of War," two very well-received mini-series. Andrea Roth, a first generation Scottish-Dutch Canadian (people of Scottish ancestry are insulted when referred to as "Scotch" since scotch is an alcoholic beverage) was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Her first theatrical appearance was in Helen Keller Miracle Worker when she was 11. Her breakthrough role was when Sally Field hired her to play her daughter Eleanor in "Woman of Independent Means, A" (1995) (mini). In this period piece she aged from 16 to 60. Other cast members include Charles Durning and Tony Goldwyn.
